Alex Bentley

Alex is a Partner at Khosla Ventures focused on fintech, consumer, and enterprise software companies.

Prior to KV, Alex held a variety of executive leadership roles at Cash App and spearheaded initiatives spanning growth, product, operations, and analytics. As the company’s first business hire, Alex incubated Cash App’s growth team and scaled its annual investments in customer acquisition and growth from zero to $100M+. More recently as Cash App’s head of business operations & strategy, he orchestrated company-wide strategy development, planning, prioritization, and execution; facilitating Cash App’s rapid expansion to more than 56 million monthly active users and more than $4 billion in annual gross profit.

Prior to joining Cash App, Alex led growth marketing, operations, and analytics teams at Square; where he was responsible for driving full-funnel revenue growth with Square’s millions of SMB customers. He began his career as a management consultant, advising Fortune 100 companies in cloud computing, energy, and consumer goods.

Alex graduated with honors from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in philosophy, politics and economics.
