Ryan is a VP of Talent at Khosla Ventures, where he partners closely with founders and portfolio leaders to build world-class teams. He supports companies at every stage of growth, helping them unlock momentum that can fundamentally reshape industries. Ryan is passionate about building a global network of exceptional talent to support KV’s diverse portfolio.
Prior to joining KV, Ryan spent six years leading technical and executive recruiting at DoorDash, helping the company navigate multiple phases of hypergrowth. He previously built and scaled recruiting functions at high-growth startups including Lime and OpenStore, developing deep expertise across engineering, product, and leadership hiring. These experiences shaped his passion for connecting people with opportunity and reinforced his belief that talent is one of the most powerful forms of leverage a founder has.
Ryan holds a B.S. in Communication and Media Studies from Old Dominion University.
