Katie is a Partner at Khosla Ventures interested in AI's impact to enterprises, infrastructure, robotics, and consumer.
Prior to KV, Katie worked on a range of technologies from building satellites to doing research at Meta. One of her projects, building an AI game engine, turned into an AI consumer company named Kangaroo which she co-founded with Mad Men’s Kiernan Shipka. For the company, Katie raised $3.3M in VC backing, brokered deals with movie studios and Hollywood agencies, and recruited a 12-person team. A few years later, she continued working on AI startups as one of the first hires at Fei-Fei Li’s company.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in AI, from Stanford University, where she also won the BASES Undergrad Startup Challenge.
