Jun Jeon

Jun is an Associate on the investment team at the exciting intersection of biology, healthcare, and technology. He obtained an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, during which he realized the infinite need for innovations in every aspect of health and medicine. His mission is to continually push the needle towards a more equitable and healthier future by investing in and operating with the world’s most thoughtful and passionate founders in the biotech and digital health spaces.

Jun thrives in finding new depth and breadth of science and has dedicated more than 10 years towards bench and clinical research in areas such as immuno-oncology, microfluidics, iPSCs, rare diseases, and clinical trials. His researches have generated numerous peer-reviewed publications and were funded by university awards as well as two NIH-funded intramural research fellowships (IRTA & MRSP).

In biotech and digital health, Jun has consulted for Oshi Health and Octant Bio in business development and new product opportunity roles. While at Penn, he co-founded a biotech pre-accelerator, Bio Launch, from the ground up in an effort to help innovative ideas from academic labs to test the market. He was also able to tie all these operational experiences together at AlleyCorp, an early-stage VC firm, where he worked on incubating a company and building out a biotech thesis specifically towards solutions that enable labs and scientists.
