Adrian is a Partner at Khosla Ventures focused on early stage investments.
Before joining KV, Adrian was a Partner at Lightspeed, where he invested across both early- and late-growth stages in companies across sectors such as Flex, Moment, Payhawk, Stripe, Anduril, Wiz, ClickUp, and Lightyear. He helped establish the firm's presence in Europe before relocating to open their New York offices
Adrian began his career in investment banking at Qatalyst Partners in London, advising on a number of VC-backed M&A transactions including Tink’s sale to Visa, Peakon’s acquisition by Workday, Instana’s sale to IBM, Dialog’s merger with Renesas, Spacemaker’s acquisition by Autodesk. His experience advising founders through defining strategic moments inspired him to move from sell-side advisory into venture, where he could partner with entrepreneurs earlier in their journey.
Born and raised in the U.K., Adrian is the son of Romanian immigrants who moved to England after the revolution, seeking greater opportunity for their family. His father’s career in the satellite industry sparked an early fascination with technology — a curiosity that has guided his career ever since.
Adrian holds a Master’s degree in Investment and Wealth Management from Imperial College Business School, London and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southampton.
